Hello all. This IS Richard. Thank you for following the blog and keeping me in your thoughts and prayers. As many of you know, I was discharged from AGH early Saturday afternoon and arrived at my sister's house shortly afterward. Coming home and seeing my family and friends was a tremendous experience and seemed to triple my strength. I wanted to let you faithful readers know that I will be posting from this point. (So, I'd expect a slight change in what you may be used to.) I plan to chronicle my recovery up to and beyond my transplant surgery and everything in between. It may get pretty crazy and as most of you know, I do crazy. I hope we can laugh together here as well as forum. I'll try to post everyday with progress, thoughts & emotions. Please feel free to comment on ANYTHING. Ask questions, whatever.
Keep an eye out for me.
Thanks,
~R

I'm glad you are finally getting around to this. I've been missing the post. Your wife is just a bit more efficient than you and this is what we should expect!!! Just kidding. You know I love you. So happy you are home and on the beginnings of a new life. CRAZY is the only way we like it!!! So you keep it up!!! Your going to go through highs and lows but we are praying for you and my best friend in the world. You make her so happy so KEEP IT UP!!! I love you both bunches and bunches!!!
ReplyDeleteGeorgann and I send our love and are excited you're home. You really put us in a scare for a while but faith and trusting in your hard headed nature reassured us of your recovery. I am certain you have a difficult road ahead of you but numerous loving hands to help carry you along the way should make it a walk in the park. It is times like these that make it hard with being so far away, but it also grants me a unique perspective to see how loving and supporting our family is. I wish you luck with your new hurdles and we will continue our prayers for you and everyone around you. As for Dorcas, you are amazing and I am sure that it is your strength that pulled him through this ordeal. All of us are incredibly lucky to have you guys as family. If there is anything we can do please feel free to call.
ReplyDeleteLove, John & Georgann Cox
